Wattway installs the world’s first photovoltaic dock at the Port of Frioul

The Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis welcomes a world-first innovation with the installation of a Wattway PLUS walkable solar dock at the Frioul Islands marina.

Covering an area of 80 m², 48 photovoltaic panels were installed on an existing landing stage, laid over the surface without excavation, delivering a total capacity of approximately 12 kWp.

Wattway unlocks new solar potential for ports and local authorities by harnessing existing surfaces, docks, quays, esplanades, and parking areas, without altering the landscape or requiring extra land.
