Soft mobility: Wattway equips a solar-powered bike charging site in Nanterre

🚴️ A new concrete project supporting sustainable mobility

Wattway has commissioned a new solar-powered bike station at Le Nanturra park in Nanterre, on behalf of Société de la Tour Eiffel.

👉 Objective: to provide a solar energy solution for a bike storage facility equipped with electric bike charging stations.

🔎 Project features:

• 6 Wattway driveable solar modules installed on a parking surface
• Power supply for 2 bike charging stations (4 charging points)
• Integration of a 2.5 kWh lithium battery for energy storage

This type of installation clearly demonstrates how innovative solutions can be integrated into existing environments to support soft mobility, without the need for heavy infrastructure.

Once again, this project highlights that the energy transition also relies on local, practical solutions that directly benefit users.
