This private company wished to install a lighting solution for a pedestrian walkway on its site for its employees and visitors.
The company was looking for an autonomous solution using renewable energy that blends in with the landscaped surroundings and avoids any invasive work that may be involved in installing such a system.
The turnkey Wattway PACK lighting solution was deployed to meet these requirements.
How the
system works
The system consists of four 110 Wp/panel photovoltaic modules (generation 2023), a secure electrical cabinet and an LED lighting column. The modules are installed on top of the pavement. They convert solar energy into electricity during the day. The electrical cabinet is installed near the modules and contains the electrical equipment needed to convert and store the energy to supply the equipment. The system provides lighting for the area for 6 to 8 hours per night.
